Kitab Hut delivers to every state in India. A parcel usually reaches a Punjab address in two to four working days and the rest of India in four to eight. Free delivery across India. Pay online by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet.
How long a parcel takes
- Punjab, including Mansa, Bathinda, Sangrur, Barnala, Ludhiana, Patiala, Jalandhar and Amritsar: usually two to four working days.
- The rest of India, including Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and the south: usually four to eight working days.
Those are estimates from experience, not guarantees. Courier delays and weather are outside the shop's hands.
What it costs
Free delivery across India. Pay online by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet. The charge, if there is one, is shown at checkout before you pay.
What happens after you order
- You place the order. Name, address and phone number; no account is needed.
- The shop rings or sends a WhatsApp message to confirm the order and the address.
- The books are wrapped by hand at the counter in Moosa and posted the same day or the next.
- The parcel goes by India Post. Once it is posted, its consignment number appears on your order, with a link to the India Post tracker.
If something goes wrong
- You can cancel free of charge at any time before the parcel is posted.
- If a book arrives damaged, misprinted, or is the wrong title, tell the shop within seven days and send a photograph. It is replaced or refunded in full, and the shop pays the return postage.
- If a parcel comes back because the address was incomplete, it is posted again once at no cost.

The website takes addresses in India only. For a parcel abroad, message the shop on WhatsApp at +91 98720 23812 with the titles and your address, and ask for a postage quote.
